Intellectual Property

  1. Teams must realize that what they present to the contest judges becomes public knowledge. Judges will not sign, nor may be asked to sign, any non-disclosure agreements (NDAs).
  2. Teams are expected to demonstrate their product or simulation during the presentations on the competition day, and these presentations are public. Please pay attention to this if interested in presenting your ideas.
  3. By participating in the competition, teams permit the University of Wisconsin Civil and Environmental Engineering department to use their project for promotion purposes on its website.
  4. The College of Engineering intellectual property (IP) personnel will present at the Info sessions. Participating in one of the info sessions II or III is required by the participants.
